Rooms

The Sail Loft opened at the beginning of 2017 and is open all year round. The bunkhouse sleeps 25 guests across a number of rooms including bunk dorms, twin and family rooms.

The mattresses are the same quality that you’ll find at Scotland’s fine Gleneagles Hotel, supplied by Glencraft in Aberdeen. The walls are all well insulated so you will not be disturbed by outside noise. There are separate, modern male and female toilets and showers with lots of hot water are close to the bedrooms.

Children are welcome and those under three years stay for free, with cot beds and baby alarms also available. Dogs are also welcome when booked in advance.

Facilities

There is a modern open-plan communal kitchen and dining area which is fully equipped with hobs, microwaves, fridges and lots of work surfaces, plus pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

The lounge with a woodburner is a cosy place to sit and read or work. There is Wi-Fi across the property and plenty of power points to meet all needs, even when fully booked. There is also a drying room, launderette, secure cycle storage and a cycle wash down area.

You can relax in a beautiful walled garden where you can enjoy a barbeque. There is a decked area by the kitchen and you can relax in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub at any time of the year. Book the hot tub at reception and the staff will have it ready for you, though jump in on time as it does get hot!
